One-Time QR Code Generator Scan Once. Gone Forever.
Create disposable QR codes that permanently expire after the first scan. Set the limit, choose what happens on reuse, and distribute — to one person or ten thousand.
What Is a One-Time QR Code?
A one-time QR code — also called a disposable QR code, single-use QR code, or self-destructing QR code — is a dynamic QR code that becomes permanently inactive after its very first scan. Unlike a standard QR code (which can be scanned unlimited times by anyone), a one-time QR tracks its state server-side: the instant the first person scans it, the code is marked expired and every subsequent scan shows an "already used" message or redirect.
Because expiry is enforced on the server — not by cookie or IP address — it cannot be bypassed by clearing browser data, switching devices, or forwarding a screenshot. The code is simply burned, globally, after scan number one.
What People Use One-Time QR Codes For
Any scenario where a code should work exactly once — and never again.
Unique Coupon Per Customer
Email each customer their own single-use discount QR. Once they redeem it in-store or online, it's gone — no sharing, no re-use, no coupon fraud.
Free Gift Redemption
Print a single-use QR inside product packaging. The first scan claims the free gift — no one else can claim it using the same code, even with a photo of the box.
Event Pass & Ticket
Each attendee gets their own disposable QR. Scan at the gate burns it — screenshots forwarded to friends are rejected instantly. No app needed at the door.
One-Time Document Link
Share a contract, confidential PDF, or private page that can only be opened once. After the recipient views it, the QR link is permanently expired for everyone else.
First-Scanner-Wins Contest
Post a single disposable QR on social media, in-store, or at an event. Only the very first person to scan it wins the prize — all later scanners see "Already Claimed."
Secure One-Time Login / Access
Generate a time-limited, single-use QR as an access token for a private area, Wi-Fi network setup, or gated onboarding flow. Expires on first use.
